Akademiska Sjukhuset (University Hospital) / Uppsala / Sweden

A composite image made up from two photos taken from the same spot, each using a different film camera. The individual photos have been collaged in photoshop.

In this case the cameras were: Voigtlander Bessa L with 25mm lens (black and white film) and Pentax Auto 110 with the 50mm lens.

This is my TARDIS USB hub, which was a gift from my friend Paul many years ago.

Taken at the new Singapore Sports Hub

3 exposures merged using Enfuse (to extend exposure time, since the clouds weren't moving very fast)

F9, 120s, ISO 100

Used ML Bulb Timer to set the exposure time since I don't have a remote trigger

That's NYC's next great architectural masterpiece (by Santiago Calatrava) taking shape on the left. Or is it the right? :-P

The "hub" at the Magic Kingdom, March 2011

Unusual crop of The Hub, Milton Keynes. Buildings are reflected in the "Lightflow" art installation.

On this particular evening, as I walked from Fantasyland to the hub, I noticed how empty the Castle was. Not having photographed its passageway for a while, I decided to set up for a shot. Right as I set up, two hooligans appeared in my frame. While these hooligans were actually Vanessa Guzan and famed photographic hobgoblin Larry White, at the time I cursed my luck that such inconsiderate tourists ;-P would wander throughout my frame adrift, I soon realized who spearheaded the plan. All I can say is this: Disney photographer's beware, for if you thought Matt Pasant ruining your shots was bad, you have yet to encounter the menacing Larry White.

On a note much more related to the shot, to me, the gothic look of the doors and gate pictured here make this area reminiscent of the 'dark' portions of the Castle. They are really quite the contrast to the murals and Fantasyland in the distance (in a good way!).

The latest in Chubdam technology, the Hub Fighter is a drone designed to breakdown and provide field technicians with vital resupply equipment in the field to enable maintenance of Chubdams outside of normal supply chains. The Hub Fighter consists of several important subsystems such as the power supply, thruster pack, chest armor, and sensor suite; all cleverly designed to function with limited flight capability when combined with each other and a pair of reusable drone wings.

I won creator sets 31006 and 31007 as random lottery prizes at BrickCon, and built this additional little VTOL for the HUB-14 display using pieces from both sets.

I found this enormous lorry hubcap in the shrubbery on my road and brought it home.

Once cleaned of all the diesel grease etc it makes a great feature at the end of my garden path. The clock no longer has any works, but the tree surgeons 'put it right' last time they were here!

Another view of the London Eye. Its an interesting feat of engineering, IMO.
