Part of my weekend was spent in this Buddhist temple, Hwaeomsa Temple. This is one of the most important temples in Korea, dating back to the Silla Dynasty (544). You can read more about the temple here en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hwaeomsa.
One of the most famous and photogenic sites off the coast of Girona, and unfortunately one of the most degraded by buildings and large mansions degraded by remnants of trash left on the floor by some visitors.
To photograph a neutral density filter 10 steps and a reverse gradient filter 3 steps I moved during exposure was used.

Found some leading lines. They blocked these steps so could not go down them to take the shot i wanted showing at least three steps. Maybe next time when the leg is better.

Large on black canvas | My favorite shots
Location: Along a fishing-lake at Haren-Ems (Emsland) Germany.
Description: Taken this morning while I was driving somewhere near the city Haren, when I noticed a large (sport-fishing) lake on the right side of the road. Initially I wanted to take some shots of this lake together with these thick cloud formation. But when I looked at the right side along this lake, I noticed these streamlined sky that seemed like a vein of heaven. So, I mounted the camera on my Manfrotto, made some shots, with different f-stops, from a low-angled position. When I got home, I was really surprised about how the sky eventually turned out: it was exactly what I had in mind, but it wasn't quite noticeable on spot with the relatively little LCD-display and bright low-angled morning sunlight.
Exposure: 3 brackets of -2 Ev, +/-0 Ev and +2 Ev at f/8, securely mounted on a Manfrotto 190.
Technique: HDR Tone Mapping & PS color and contrast enhancements.

Excerpt from en.wikipedia.org/wiki/K%C5%8Dko-en:
Kōko-en (好古園) is a Japanese garden located next to Himeji Castle in Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan.
It was constructed in 1992 at the site of the lord's west residence, to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Himeji municipality. In 2017, Koko-en signed a sister garden agreement with Ro Ho En, the Japanese Friendship Garden, in its sister city, Phoenix, Arizona.
The garden is about 3.5 hectares and has nine different gardens.
Another picture from Lulworth taken on my road trip to Dorset on Monday. The light there was mesmerising as I lined this shot up along the coast, I knew that I wanted to slow my shutter speed down so I put a 10 second Filter on giving me a shutter speed of 25 secs at f/9.
Comments are always welcome and favs most appreciated.

It has been a while since I posted my last ones....catching up now my friends.
This is one from my recent trip with Glen to Moreton Island where we were witnessing a great natural spectacle. Do I really need to say anything here.....just look at this landscape and soak it in. It is a large tidal pool where we enjoyed the silence and absence of civilisation.
For those of you with an iphone, I have 100 of my "best" in an application called "ifolio". It is a free application

"Sometimes reopen on the walls
the already closed furrows of memory
and again the hidden pain flows
Dark and thin is the twisted line of time
I run backwards along the fissures of torments
I can't remember other than goodbyes
unrealized lives
undone dreams"

What is life to me without thee?
What is left if thou art dead?
What is life; life without thee?
What is life without my love?
What is life if thou art dead?
Eurydice! Eurydice!
Ah, hear me! Oh answer!
Oh answer!
Thy dear lord am I so faithful
Thy dear lord am I who loves thee
Who doth love thee!
What is life to me without thee?
What is left if thou art dead?
What is life; life without thee?
What is life without my love?
What is life if thou art dead?
Eurydice! Eurydice!
In my dread anguish nought can aid me
None can comfort
Earth is cruel, heav'n is cold!
What is life to me without thee?
What is left if thou art dead?
What is life; life without thee?
What is life if thou art dead?
What is life; life without thee?
what is life if thou art dead?
If thou art dead?
If thou art dead?

I thought it about time I uploaded a recent picture of Ashala taken on a wet at the bottom of our garden, standing proudly on a recently laid patio which isn't quite finished yet.

Jade (www.flickr.com/photos/165943663@N04/) shared a fun photo challenge that I think is at Instagram, and while I can't complete every day, I had time to jump in today and post something.
Day 7 is brown, so here's my pretty brunette Tulabelle in a light brown sweater.
Thanks for alerting us, Jade, to a way to enjoy our dolls/photography this month!

My love is in league with the freeway
Its passion will ride, as the cities fly by
And the tail-lights dissolve, in the coming of night
And the questions in thousands take flight
My love is the miles and the waiting
The eyes that just stare, and the glance at the clock
And the secret that burns, and the pain that won't stop
And its fuel is the years
Leading me on - leading me down the road
Driving beyond
Driving me down the road.
Don't Give Up - Peter Gabriel et Kate Bush
in this proud land we grew up strong
we were wanted all along
I was taught to fight, taught to win
I never thought I could fail
no fight left or so it seems
I am a man whose dreams have all deserted
I've changed my face, I've changed my name
but no one wants you when you lose
don't give up
'cos you have friends
don't give up
you're not beaten yet
don't give up
I know you can make it good
though I saw it all around
never thought I could be affected
thought that we'd be the last to go
it is so strange the way things turn
drove the night toward my home
the place that I was born, on the lakeside
as daylight broke, I saw the earth
the trees had burned down to the ground
don't give up
you still have us
don't give up
we don't need much of anything
don't give up
'cause somewhere there's a place
where we belong
rest your head
you worry too much
it's going to be alright
when times get rough
you can fall back on us
don't give up
please don't give up
'got to walk out of here
I can't take anymore
going to stand on that bridge
keep my eyes down below
whatever may come
and whatever may go
that river's flowing
that river's flowing
moved on to another town
tried hard to settle down
for every job, so many men
so many men no-one needs
don't give up
'cause you have friends
don't give up
you're not the only one
don't give up
no reason to be ashamed
don't give up
you still have us
don't give up now
we're proud of who you are
don't give up
you know it's never been easy
don't give up
'cause I believe there's the a place
there's a place where we belong
