Starting with the top horizontal plank under the left support plank, drill two holes (offset from each other) and insert screws.

I stood mostly behind the podium but would come out in front of I had a long story to tell. I even had another laptop with all the slides on it so I knew what picture was coming next.
When I did this I forgot to include space for the hotshoe adapter so I ended up having to bend it two more times to compensate. Hopefully you won't make the same mistake.
