A graphic is attached to the mic flag to complete the process of making a mic flag.
This six inch sticker raps around the mic flag perfectly. I'm ready to hit the street and talk to people about their views concerning legalizing marijuana.
With the exterior walls glued together, I coated the remaining unbuttressed wall and the 0.020" styrene wall with rubber cement. I then glued the styrene to the paper wall and held it in place with binder clips.
As you can see from the picture, this is the result.
I painted the outside of the lens cap with glossy Mod Podge.
This gives it some strength.

Paint it black, attatch lanyard.

if you can find a small enough switch you can add that to the underside and connect it between the motor and the battery.

You need to use Basmatti rice. I've tried others...it doesn't work well. For some reason, it just tastes different. I guess at this too. For this batch, I used 1 box (I think). My friend was way better at measuring the water and rice...me...not so much.
With the walls very stable, I folded the tabs on the walls on which I could glue the roof. If you make the styrene inner walls high enough, then folding the paper tabs is easy.
I prefer to have the tabs for the long walls be below the tabs for the end walls. That way there isn't much of a gap between the roof and the long walls.
I glued the roof tabs together with rubber cement, coating both tabs for a strong bond. Binder clips held the tabs in place while the glue set.
One the easiest ways to change the look of your Songbird is to change the background. Note that the stock background image is just a transparent png that creates a highlight at the top of the window.
If you just want to change the color of your Songbird, you can do that in /skin/colors.css, if you want an image background, you'll have to change background.png in /skin/backgrounds. You will also want to set the way your background image repeats in /skin/images.css on line 65.
You can also use external URLs for your background-image so you can use your favorite flickr photo as a background by simply pasting the URL to the photo into the window rule in /skin/images.css.
Sew alongside the line rather than on it to allow for extra room. Try it on again. The right way. Mine was too tight at the very top and I couldnt fasten the top button, so I took out some of the stitches on both sides. Keep altering it until it fits.
There might be an easier way to make it form fitting like by using darts or something, but this is what I did and it worked for me. Trim the seams once you get the fit right.
Do your seams still match up with your sides? Mine are a bit off but its okay.
I created a (admittedly inexact) mitered corner by folding the bias tape in on itself. One hint for the process is to fold it in place and then continue sewing straight to the corner. When you get there, leave the needle down in the fabric, raise your presser foot, and rotate the placemat 90º then lower the presser foot and continue sewing.
