Lissajous figures are interesting curves that occur in systems where oscillation happens in more than one direction, for example when a pendulum hanging from a string moves in the plane.

Book boards (8.5X11 *2) - Paper Source, Scissors, Canvas (6X6"), Ribbon (2 yards), Ruler, Embroidery floss (or strong thread), sewing needle, PVA glue, Book cloth (preferably not sewing fabric), bone folder, paint brush, cutting mat (for Xacto knife), Awl (i.e. pointy metal object), 3 sheets card stock (forendpapers)

The basic ratio for the kind of flour glue I make is 1 part flour to 2 to 4 parts water, mixed and added to 20 parts boiling water.

Start wet felting by sprinkling a little hot soapy water on the rabbit. Start with feet and hands, then ears and face. You need to use a massaging motion to get the fibres to knit together

Get a cloth damp, place it over the flower on an ironing board, and then press with the iron for 10 seconds at high heat. This will steam the flower flat. You should do this for both sides of the flower.

Attach moulding with finishing nails. We found it easier to pre-hammer the nails into the moulding, and then place the moulding against the wall and finish hammering.

 

Be very careful to line the moulding up correctly, especially at the corners.

Upholstered headboard with 1/2" drilled holes.

Foam, batting, and fabrics should already be attached to the wood Tapestry needle (a long upholstery needle is even better)

Embroidery thread, scissors

Covered Button (see the how to for fabric covered buttons)

Needle nose pliers

Backing button that is larger than 1/2" drilled hole
