This is from April at Nisqually NWR. It's not a composite of two pictures (otherwise, it would be waaay better), it's just a weird thing that I was lucky to see happen.
It's hard to tell in this shot, but the bald eagle is chasing the peregrine falcon. It does give you a pretty good idea how much bigger eagles are than peregrine falcons.

How are you all doing? As some of you are aware, I've been concentrating on my running, with a degree of success, however, that's another story. But actually, because of that, I've Slovenia right now and when I arrived last week I took the car of a mountain pass while it was raining - I managed to get some cool images and this is one of my favourites.. Hope you are well and happy x
This view is looking back down the ridge to Sleet How as we walked up to Grisedale Pike To get a sense of scale look down the ridge footpath and you will see two men pushing cycles. I'll say no more!
