Always look up. I totally missed this little detail, but John caught it. The ceiling of the hallway leading to the bathroom was white pegboard, with translucent pushpins, a la Lightbright.
We went house-hunting today. This sign was posted outside one of the rooms in the basement. We were amused by the owner's sense of humour :). The upstairs of this house looked amazing; the basement would need a lot of work, but time & money could bring it around nicely.

Guest room in the "Green House" Transitioning from the Coordinator of UPB to the Associate Director, I began the process to find my perfect first home.
You can't quite see just how long the space is...but it's long enough to have the workarea where the range is and then put a nice long pine table into the middle for entertaining! The curtains to the left reveal the scullery (which would make a good utility room) which takes you into the garden. The door at the back takes you into a very run-down space with fireplace: it needs both a new roof and a new floor, but with the ivy outside cut back and a nice rooflight it would make a perfect studio! A studio looking into the garden! Dude!
