Nice house but there is a definite slant in the kitchen floor.

Trying to find a compromise of close-to-town, newish, and cheap. And every house seems to have two out of the three.

 

I do not envy me.

This is the window at the north end of the sunroom. I've finally fulfilled my goal of having a round window!

Always look up. I totally missed this little detail, but John caught it. The ceiling of the hallway leading to the bathroom was white pegboard, with translucent pushpins, a la Lightbright.

We went house-hunting today. This sign was posted outside one of the rooms in the basement. We were amused by the owner's sense of humour :). The upstairs of this house looked amazing; the basement would need a lot of work, but time & money could bring it around nicely.
