One of the easiest captures I have had of Yellow warblers. I was sitting on a concrete wall by the lagoon at Harrison Hotsprings checking out photos on my camera and this little one popped out of a clump of willows.

32 flavors and then some..

Here's a shot of Hot Springs, located in Bath County, Virginia, which I took on a drive a few weeks ago. Located a few miles from the county seat of Warm Springs, the town is also home to the historic resort The Homestead.

A Japanese macaque enjoying a peaceful snooze in a geothermal hotspring.

The babe and I decided to visit the Byron Hotsprings Motel today.

I actually went to this place before like seven months ago without the babe.

It was a very much more interesting experience WITH the babe. And to my surprise she actually liked it.

We hiked up to the 50 year abandoned hotel (look it up motherfucker if you haven’t heard of it, the Byron Springs Hotel).

And we explored every single room. The poor babe was subject to graffiti words like “fuck” and “666” and “I WILL KILL YOU” weird shit on the wall.

It did not phase the babe.

She pointed out the bad words. I told her not to worry about it. We climbled up the levels of this crazy place. The babe to my surprise loved it.

To sum it up, this was a hotel to the RICH AND FAMOUS during the early part of the 20th century. Then it was purchased by the US government during WWII as a Japanese kind of POW camp in the 1940’s and it has been abandonded since the 1940’s.

It’s so cool I can’t even tell you.

Some people say it’s haunted.

The babe and I decided to explore it today.

She loved every minute of it (really).

Rock on man

Bagby Hot Springs.

Water comes out at 130 something degrees. So hot you have to cool it down. You sprawl out in hewn cedar logs.

Semi-covered roof. Old Growth forest surrounding. Nature lovers, sometimes nude, sharing the springs with you. (in their own tubs though)

Yellowstone National Park.

Well, what can I say. Yellowstone, says it all!!

A truly Amazing and Beautiful place. Pretty much out of this world.

Exploring the many geothermal activity that Yellowstone showcases. The smells, sounds and sights are almost alien. I was yet again speechless.

Yellowstone is the world's oldest National Park. This huge park spreads across three states of America. State of Wyoming, Montana and Idaho.

Yellowstone sits on a Volcanic Plateau at an average elavation of 8, 000 ft. There are over 10, 000 hot springs, geysers, bubbling mudpots and fumaroles. Our Guide explained that many of these geothermal masterpieces change their appearance daily. Some have known to completely cease activity while others have just popped up in brand new unexpected locations.

A truly Amazing Spectacular location.
