Super cool natural hotspring a few miles past Bridgeport, California. Stopped for a soak, enjoyed a few beers, and was taken away by the awe of this amazing view.
Grand Prismatic is the 3rd largest hotspring in the world. My first view of it was from a hillside far from the official parking area. It's hardly believable that something like this exists. The colors (created by bacteria that live in the hot water) and patterns are amazing. The steam that rose reflected the colors and looked blue and red at times (see next photo.) Later that day I took the boarkwalk tour around it, which was also wild. I was glad to have had this overview first, to see what I was getting in to!
