Prior to meeting up with other friends for a book discussion, Samantha insisted that we go to Aroma Espresso Bar, located in the heart of the Annex. It was certainly worth the trip — I ordered a hot chocolate and a portobello mushroom sandwich. Yum! The hot chocolate used real chocolate, and it was creamy, rich, frothy and perfect for a cold day.

A warm chocolate milk

Look up the Jaime Oliver recipe, but replace the thermos with a nalgene bottle. The thermos proved risky at best, I've had exploded hot chocolate on my kitchen walls, counters, appliances multiple times. Even with the nalgene bottle, I shake it outside just in case - your reward is a hot frothy cup of hot chocolate if done right.
