It has gotten really, really, really cold for south Alabama! Down into the low 20s with even lower wind chill factors. So I am using the cappucino machine at work to survive it! Cinnamon Bun cappucino or hot chocolate for me! Yummz.

Chocolate bar melted in hot milk to deliver hot chocolate - my mate's choice of beverage. Said the chilli delivered a (surprising) spicy kick after each mouthful.

This is how they served cocoa in a restaurant in one of Oakland, California's shopping neighborhoods. Forgive me. The name isn't on the tips of my fingers.
This afternoon was the first of weekly hang out/catch up times with my awesome roomies. Lauren couldn't make it, but Lindsay, Kiri and I chatted and drank tea and hot chocolate. Oh, and ate cookies. Duh.
Today I learned: It's probably a good idea to study for an exam sooner than the morning you are supposed to take it.
Awesome hot chocolate. I've already swilled half of it, it had whipped cream on top. Note that you get to stir your drink with a stick encrusted with crystallised sugar!
I've only seen these self heating cans on espresso shots before (shudder they where not good). Now there's this massive caffeinated hot chocolate too (which incidentally goes against my chocolate must be in bar form rules).
