On Thursday, September 29, the BCCK hosted one of our annual flagship events, the Garden Party at the British Embassy Seoul. Nearly 400 guests attended from British, other multinational, and Korean businesses and many were dressed in blue, white, and flowers which were the theme of the Garden Party. We had experiential booths where our guests could enjoy cars from Aston Martin, perfumes and bath products from Lush, plates and tea sets from Rory Dobner, a cake from Aiff Cake. McQueens Flowers created a photo wall tribute to her Majesty the Queen. Four Seasons Seoul created a special British menu and guests were able to enjoy Chandon Garden Spritz and Tanquerey cocktails as well as whiskey from Johnny Walker and Talisker and beer from Peroni and London Pride. Thank you to our sponsors and guests for attending our Garden Party and for your generosity with the charity raffle, proceeds of which will be donated to Myungdo Welfare Center. Ahmed Raza Khan (Arabic: أحمد رضا خان, Persian, Urdu: احمد رضا خان, Hindi: अहमद रज़ा खान), commonly known as Ahmed Rida Khan in Arabic, or simply as "Ala-Hazrat" (14 June 1856 CE or 10 Shawwal 1272 AH – 28 October 1921 CE or 25 Safar 1340 AH), was an Islamic scholar, jurist, theologian, ascetic, Sufi, Urdu poet, and reformer in British India,[4] and the founder of the Barelvi movement.[5][6][7] Raza Khan wrote on numerous topics, including law, religion, philosophy and the sciences.
Early life and family
Ahmed Raza Khan Barelvi's father, Naqi Ali Khan, was the son of Raza Ali Khan.[8][9][10] Ahmed Raza Khan Barelvi belonged to the Barech tribe of Pushtuns.[9] The Barech formed a tribal grouping among the Rohilla Pushtuns of North India who founded the state of Rohilkhand. Khan's ancestors migrated from Qandahar during the Mughal rule and settled in Lahore.[8][9]
Khan was born on 14 June 1856 in Mohallah Jasoli, Bareilly Sharif, the North-Western Provinces. The name corresponding to the year of his birth was "Al Mukhtaar". His birth name was Muhammad.[11] Khan used the appellation "Abdul Mustafa" ("servant of the chosen one") prior to signing his name in correspondence.[12]
At the age of four he completed the recitation of the Quran[citation needed]. At the age of 13, he completed his Islamic Education as well as reached puberty after which he began issuing Fatwas[citation needed].
Khan saw an intellectual and moral decline of Muslims in British India.[13] His movement was a mass movement, defending popular Sufism, which grew in response to the influence of the Deobandi movement in South Asia and the Wahhabi movement elsewhere.[14]
Today the movement is spread across the globe with followers in Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Turkey, Afghanistan, Iraq, Sri Lanka, South Africa, United States, and UK among other countries. The movement now has over 200 million followers.[15] The movement was largely a rural phenomenon when begun, but is currently popular among urban, educated Pakistanis and Indians as well as South Asian diaspora throughout the world.[16]
Many religious schools, organizations and research institutions teach Khan's ideas,[17] which emphasize the primacy of Islamic law over adherence to Sufi practices and personal devotion to the prophet Muhammad.

JAXPORT hosted the 2019 Logistics and Intermodal Conference last week in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, which featured 32 sponsors and a sold-out registration of more than 350 port customers, tenants and port service providers.
Attendees heard from 29 speakers, including many senior level leaders from ocean carriers and logistics companies, who served as moderators and panelists on topics ranging from changes in vessel alliances to the impacts of the current U.S. political landscape.

2 May 2019. Host Holly Ransom, Chief Executive Officer of Emergent, addresses participants in the host country seminar “30 Under 30: The Faces of Fiji’s Future” at the 52nd Annual Meeting of the ADB Board of Governors.
Panelists were selected from the inaugural class of “30 Under 30,” a new initiative led by the Fijian government that solicited a truly talented pool of nominees.
Hosted by Desolation Outdoors, Sam's Anchor Cafe, Lyndasue Johnson, Bradley Real Estate and the Tiburon Chamber of Commerce, this was a fun race on July 11, 2015 with courses suitable for beginners, intermediate and advanced standup paddle boarders.
The races started and ended at Sam's Anchor Café in downtown Tiburon and proceeded along the Tiburon waterfront with incredible views of San Francisco, Angel Island and the Golden Gate Bridge.
This is a photograph from the 1st running of the Father Murphy AC 10KM Road Race and Fun Run which was held in Kildalkey, Trim, Co. Meath Ireland on Easter Sunday 5th April 2015 at 12:00. The 10KM race replaces the traditional 5 Mile road race which has been hosted by the club over the past number of years. The 10KM race today also incorporated the Meath 10KM Road Championships. The route started and finished in Kildalkey and took a route westward out to Ballivor and Franye before returning to Kildalkey. The route brings the runners through beautiful Meath Countryside on low-traffic country roads. The weather conditions were near to perfect with cool temperatures and the absence of any breeze. This made for excellent and pleasant racing and running conditions. Just over 160 participants took part.

The explaination is very simple.

I ran in the race - but my photograph doesn't appear here in your Flickr set! What gives?
As mentioned above we take these photographs as a hobby and as a voluntary contribution to the running community in Ireland. Very often we have actually ran in the same race and then switched to photographer mode after we finished the race. Consequently, we feel that we have no obligations to capture a photograph of every participant in the race. However, we do try our very best to capture as many participants as possible. But this is sometimes not possible for a variety of reasons:
►You were hidden behind another participant as you passed our camera
►Weather or lighting conditions meant that we had some photographs with blurry content which we did not upload to our Flickr set
►There were too many people - some races attract thousands of participants and as amateur photographs we cannot hope to capture photographs of everyone
►We simply missed you - sorry about that - we did our best!
You can email us petermooney78 AT gmail DOT com to enquire if we have a photograph of you which didn't make the final Flickr selection for the race. But we cannot promise that there will be photograph there. As alternatives we advise you to contact the race organisers to enquire if there were (1) other photographs taking photographs at the race event or if (2) there were professional commercial sports photographers taking photographs which might have some photographs of you available for purchase. You might find some links for further information above.
