Downtown Phoenix Assignment. Saw this as we were heading back to the train station. A guy on a bike leaving a garage. Caught him as he was heading away.
Started Shimelle's Pretty Paper Party class today & she gave us some great sketches & told us to use our scraps...So these papers are pretty familiar, or at least the opposite side is (LOL). I loved the idea of doing something everyday that we don't think about capturing & homework made sense for me today.
Journaling on left is list of common excuses:
My Stomach Hurts, It's too Hard, I don't want to, I don't have any, I left it at school, That's next week's homework, It's not fair, Your homework is easier than mine.
And on the right journaling says:
Ry if ever there was a "work avoidance specialist" you are it! You spend more time & effort avoiding & trying to get out of homework than it takes to do it. Your teacher & I have worked together to come up with a positive reinforcement program...with some great rewards for you, I love to sit beside you & do my "Homework" (exercises from my Nepali study book) at the same time. But you've got to actually sit down & DO THE WORK!
In keeping with my unintended domesticity series ( ;) ) here's a photo of Miss M doing her French dictation homework! Of course -- homework is done at the kitchen counter as I "sous-chef" and start getting dinner ready. Multi-tasking 101!
Thanks to modern technology Daddy was able to help with homework while I washed the dishes, even though he was in a different time zone!
Ana doing her homework after hockey practice on her third day of High School., leaning against her sofa bed in the living room. Summer officially over and the autumn sun streaming in through the window. I later suggested that we might want to tidy up the room over the weekend, and pointed out that a significant amount of the debris is mine. But Ana said no, it looks good as it is. It's as much her bedroom as a living room so I can't disagree.
up at the oldest building in the tibet, a couple of school kids were catching up on their homework.. one thing the chinese are good at is standardising everything, the same uniform could be seen across the whole country, all the kid would come up and say hello as well, rather impressive in one location but in the remote regions like tibet it is a good sign for progress..

I hate Mondays...
So, back to school for me. (I will hopefully incorporate my frustration into my SP tomorrow...) Of course, to welcome me back, all my teachers gave me homework! Fun...
This is Andrew again. He was also doing homework. And compiling a list of books he needs to read before he dies. Don't ask, I don't know. :P Looking on the positive side, the computer screen made for some interesting lighting...
