This youngster was so intent on her language lesson. The world was passing by and she was oblivious. That can be good sometimes. Time enough for cynicism later in life when it all swirls around you.

The library is a great place to do your homework in the afternoon. All the resources are there should you need them.
Started Shimelle's Pretty Paper Party class today & she gave us some great sketches & told us to use our scraps...So these papers are pretty familiar, or at least the opposite side is (LOL). I loved the idea of doing something everyday that we don't think about capturing & homework made sense for me today.
Journaling on left is list of common excuses:
My Stomach Hurts, It's too Hard, I don't want to, I don't have any, I left it at school, That's next week's homework, It's not fair, Your homework is easier than mine.
And on the right journaling says:
Ry if ever there was a "work avoidance specialist" you are it! You spend more time & effort avoiding & trying to get out of homework than it takes to do it. Your teacher & I have worked together to come up with a positive reinforcement program...with some great rewards for you, I love to sit beside you & do my "Homework" (exercises from my Nepali study book) at the same time. But you've got to actually sit down & DO THE WORK!
Horse riding and friends coming to lunch in the morning, but Saturday afternoon is homework time. Aw!
Thanks to modern technology Daddy was able to help with homework while I washed the dishes, even though he was in a different time zone!
Ana doing her homework after hockey practice on her third day of High School., leaning against her sofa bed in the living room. Summer officially over and the autumn sun streaming in through the window. I later suggested that we might want to tidy up the room over the weekend, and pointed out that a significant amount of the debris is mine. But Ana said no, it looks good as it is. It's as much her bedroom as a living room so I can't disagree.
This is some of my hobby corner, there are a mixture of things. The top row starting on the left are my 2010 Dean's List Cert., Ohio State Hat, Autographed picture of my dad and I with Stone Cold Steve Austin, some shot glasses to places I have been, one of my Eagle pics I took. Second row is my favorite comedy team, next an autograph of one of my favorite actresses Emma Watson, then a Jim Carrey autograph, followed by my Jay Leno autograph, then a picture of my friend and I dressed up as Laurel & Hardy, followed by my 2nd cousin Tim and I, then third row a hand drawn characture of me dressed up as "The Certain Ethnic Guy" by John Thornberry the artist who did drawings for Big Chuck & Little John Show, followed by my favorite photo I took of two tigers fighting.
i hate Array. about 15 minutes ago Array crapped out on me. no reason, hadn't done anything different than i'd been doing for the past 3 hours at least. but now i'm pretty sure i've lost around 4-5 hours of work, and the entire 2nd half of my animation.
you may be asking "why didn't you save more you idiot?" well, i was working with all of the 3 layers Array has and Array has this nice little feature where it collapses all of your layers together when ever you save.

This weeks assignment was to shoot a combination of square and round subjects using various lighting schemes.

I hate Mondays...
So, back to school for me. (I will hopefully incorporate my frustration into my SP tomorrow...) Of course, to welcome me back, all my teachers gave me homework! Fun...
This is Andrew again. He was also doing homework. And compiling a list of books he needs to read before he dies. Don't ask, I don't know. :P Looking on the positive side, the computer screen made for some interesting lighting...
