Two library patrons talk about their homework assignments while hanging out at the library after school.
I have homework due tomorrow. We students of the Advanced Digital Photography class are to create a Christmas card; the front and the inside part.
These wall flowers are still blooming beautifully beside my front door. They gave me my inspiration
At least the red and green colours fit the assignment. ;)
Day Twenty ~ Homework
One thing that I'm super impressed about at Church Hill Middle School is the communication with Dominic's teachers and the quality of his teachers. We are having a big meeting Friday (I'll share about that next week). He's working on math, which is pretty much the only nightly homework on a regular basis. See that mask sitting in front of him? He made that in theater arts, his favorite class. It's a toucan and he will be adding feathers to it later.
Downtown Phoenix Assignment. Up on the bridge over Central. While taking some long exposure tail lights pictures I decided to zoom in (or was it out?) from 18mm to 55mm.
I even found time to do massage homework (my anatomy coloring book) while the boys were out venturing one day.
They may be cute, but it's homework time that's going to snap my will like a twig. Tristan in Grade 2 has a minimum of 20 minutes of homework a night, and Lucas has to be in the thick of things. It's a half hour of hell, smack in the worst part of the day.
(Lookit his grip on the pencil, though -- not bad for a 19-month old! If only I could get him to stay on the paper. Earlier today, I had to wipe crayola marker off the television -- thank goodness for baby wipes.)
Well only one had "real homework" -- sort of (can u guess which one?)... but once one was at the kitchen table working the other two wanted to follow. I did all my homework at the kitchen table so this was a nostalgic moment for me. Is this still the favourite spot for all kids?
It was raining, in ice! And when i came home and did the homework in my cousin's apartment, i saw a rainbow outside and hurriedly grabbed my camera and took some pics :)
I thought I should give a try on HDR, so here it goes.. I know it sucks :\ I'm going to learn how to make it better next time hehe
my blog currently is a mix of a few things: cooking, gardening, sewing, photography, adventures, living in FL and my pets.
I can try to be sneaky with my camera, but he no longer poses or even relaxes when I try to photograph him.

Lots of firsts this week. As a kindergartner, Molly now has daily homework. Crazy to think that my child now has homework to do.
this is what happens when you tell a very logical child that they have to write the word missed 5 times for their spelling test
I procrastinate too much, I have too much homework, and not enough time.
And still I procrastinate.
What does this all mean?
A really crappy picture, a headache, and a total lack of sleep.
No boys' favourite activity but such are the demands of school that study time at home are necessary
