I can't say that I didn't expect to get homework at one point in time while I'm in training school, but I was hoping to slide through the first week. It's not like this stuff was hard as we went to a pub for supper, they had $2 pints of beer so we endulged in a few and then we proceeded to have a pool party, drink more beer and do our homework outside and then off to another bar to take advantage of $1.75 pints. We drank much more beer than we did homework but either way homework sucks.
I'm now blind from doing my Garage Studios homework, my first attempt at strobist flash... I was going for jewel thief caught in the act but methinks the red lipstick went a bit too Robert Palmer video, ho ho... still, it was a fun (and frustrating) first attempt!
20070213: Here's a helpful tip to anyone who wants to be a computer scientist. Always set the camera to "no flash" if you ever find yourself sitting in class and your professor says, "Now I'm going to show you briefly how I coded your next homework assignment..."

My nephew is in from Malibu, California for a week of skiing with his cousins. A special treat since there isn't a February break out west...but unfortunately one that includes homework.
John has decided he doesn't like the homework his teacher sets (scrunched up, on the right). So he has set his own homework, done it, and marked it.
Homework for my Mechanical Sculpture Class at The Crucible.
It converts rotary motion into linear motion, in this case vertical.
I added a motor just to show off.
Science Homework: Diffusion Practical - The glass on the left started with clear water, and the glass on the right a coffee solution. Coffee solution was gradually added to the clear water.
They say when you are missing someone that they are probably feeling the same, but I don't think it's possible for you to miss me as much as I'm missing you right now

Today has been a pretty gosh-darned LAZY day. No joke. Because It's been snowy and gloomy--and just no fun. :[
Went to church this morning though. :D Finally saw Nathan, and it made me happy. Although we talked for like...5 seconds, lol. He was like, "Hey! Sorry I didn't call you last night, I felt really super bad!" It made me laugh. He's so cute. I mean, it's not like he's obligated to call me, or that I even asked him too. He just felt bad. Maybe I'm crazy, but I thought that was like, the cutest thing ever. Then, he asked me if I need a ride to his game tomorrow, because my Dad won't be going to that one. And I said, "uhhh...yeah, prolly. That would be super awesome." And he says, "Alright...I guess I'll ask your Dad then." HEHE! I thought that was super cute too. I just think he is amazing. I love him.
Then we went to Wal-Mart, and got lots of new food. YAY FOR FOOD! Seriously, our fridge and cabinet was practically EMPTY. Now we have food. And I'm excited. :D
Then, we hung out and watched "Into the Wild" (which I thought was dumb) and did my homework. It was exciting. It's been a boring, lazy day.
So that's why you get this boring lazy picture.
I've really liked going outside for my pictures lately, just cuz it has better lighting. Or something about it, I like better.
I just didn't have any ideas today. So this is what you get. :P
Sometime, i wanna do a set of lyical photos. I just don't know when. AND--I really wanna add more "Magic Wall" pictures, cuz Laura gave me some of HER pictures! YAY! But again, I don't know when. Hm.
ANNNDDD--
I'm OFFICIALLY sick of cold weather. Not even kidding.
Today, it was SO cold, it just like pierced through your soul. Or something evil sounding like that. I almost died sitting there.
*sigh* Someday I'll live near the warmth.
