This is me at home working on "For Matt#2".This photo was taken for me by my mate Keni.
I've never tried anything like this before and quite suprised myself at how much I enjoyed it.The card was a pound and the art shops got loads of colours to try out so I'll be doing more of this, I think I may have found my rainy day photo opportunity.
In December 2014, I built a home studio out of bedsheets and household lamps. Vlad came by to help me experiment with the setup - here are the results! Dec 6, 2014.
Tomatos + cardboard box + tracing paper = ... Gave the below a go! www.macworld.com/article/60804/2007/11/dec07digitalphoto....
A glimpse of my HomeStudio, featuring Percussa AudioCubes, inventive midi cubes, merging design and midi control...

This is my 'Wizz-Bang' still life studio in the garage which i knocked up in about 5 minutes.
Just a piece of wood between 4 plastic chairs, with a white sheet on it, and a black sheet for the backdrop.
and to ad the finishing touch, its lit be diffused torchlight :P
quite happy with it, and am currently processing the first few sessions.
pics will be up soon
My basic smoke set up. speedlight to left on light stand, card flags to channel the light nad stop cast on to back ground. incenses sticks for smoke
And finally, a wide shot to show the setup: Three-sided backing board at the rear, very pliant poster board curving up from a second piece of poster board, all sitting on foam core ... which is resting on one of my shopmate fold-up tables from the garage. LARGE
Here's a link to this past week's home studio sessions. I think I am done playing around.
Making music with my man, Lee. The microphone is intimidatingly close by, as he fiddles with some technical stuff on the computer.
A white hook is now permanently in my ceiling. The carabiner acts as a pulley for a thin rope that is attached to my PVC light stand.
Everything except for the white hook is removable. I can set up the entire "studio" in about 20 minutes. Everything fits in my photoflex light bag - about the size of an army duffle bag.
