I was shooting random objects in my living room today for witty homemade christmas cards, and I couldn't resist.
Hope everyone has had a happy holidays. Can't wait for this year, I have many things to look forward to.

Day 4: After a day tending to a cat that wouldn't eat (a not-cheap vet visit revealed an infection and a prescription of antibiotics to be administered twice a day for a week) and a late lunch/early dinner at a local burger joint, I came home to realize I had no photos for the day. As we returned to our still-decorated house, I thought back to Peter Sorrell's great bokeh images and decided to try some myself. This is why people join groups based on a common interest: they're great for motivation and inspiration.
my friend brought over all these old vintage xmas balls that he'd found at a church bizarre.. i was instantly in love with them.. they totally remind me of my childhood
Day 129/365
One thing that I do not miss about winter when it's not here is de-icing the car at 7am as we are leaving for work!
Thankfully P did it this morning whilst I sat inside the car feeling a little cheered by our neighbour 's Christmas lights - they looked so pretty through the icy window!
Only one day to go of work before I finish for Christmas...hooray for Christmas holidays!

two carousel horses - wheeeee.
I've always thought that merry-go-round horses would always look either really frightened/spooked or maniacally intense.
