So glad that I got these pictures of our Christmas tree before the Big Fall. My brother accidentally knocked the tree over on Christmas Eve before we even opened our presents! Fortunately, and amazingly, only one ornament was broken.

In the USA, at our places of employment, we get cake and other fun stuff from November, wait, make that October to the end of the year for any reason people can think of. Then come January, everyone has to sign up at the health club to work off that stuff that they've been eating.

The remains on this plate are two different pieces of cake. Raspberry and chocolate given to us by our clients as a thank you for doing business with them.

Thank you clients for giving us this sugary stuff that goes right to the hips and puts our bodies in sugar shock for the rest for the day!

Here I am. Day 1. Committing to the 365 project this year. Figured now is a better time than ever, new years resolutions and all. After all...there's nothing better than some holiday bokeh to ring in a happy beginning to 2012!

More lights! They are strung high up on the wall so curious kittens can't chew on them.

One of the rare times when my camera wasn't focused correctly.

Expect plenty more. I love the downtown snowflake lights.
