Another shot from the abandoned holiday resort Trälen. This is the Church ( Looks like a hippie church to me..)
Technical note: The image is a triple exposures tonemapped in Photomatix. Furthermore, a few layers of curves, levels, hue/saturation, added a vignette. Did the final color adjustments in Lightroom.
Location: The island Trälen, on the west coast of Sweden.
Camera: Canon 350d with the fabulous Sigma 10/20 @ 10mm
Base exposure: 1/200s at f/8 on my new Gorilla pod.
Mushu the loveable fluffy Cat relaxing on my freshly made bed in Brussels, Belgium. Taken with a Canon 5D4 and 50mm 1.4 lens.

Pitcher Ramon Ortiz of the Washington Nationals is welcomed back to the dugout after hitting the first Cardinals pitch of the 8th inning over the left field wall for his first career home run. Ortiz had held the St. Louis Cardinals without a hit for 8 innings, and the home run gave the Nationals a 3-0 lead.

I came out to Orlando today for two things. One, to check out the Farmer's Market I haven't been to in a while and two, to go to the big red wall to try out an idea. The market was pretty good, had some new vendors, talked with some long standing ones and sampled a good amount of food including authentic British fish & chips made by actual Brits living in town.
This wall was the site of my last Front Page shot and I wanted to do this before 365 end since I can't get here during the work week. Can't believe I have 2 days left!

I expected this to be a little more spectacular in its burn but it was pretty pathetic. I only got these five frames before the show was over!

Beautiful Gulf of Mexico. Morning walks on the beach, followed by a swim and kayaking. Doesn't get much better than this in the States.
