Higher ISO shots taken at the Casino Lac Leamy Sound of Light 2015 festival. Shot at ISO6400 using my Canon EOS M3, these shots better capture the fireworks as they were "in the moment" - at the expense of grain in the images. My hotel room window glass at the Sheraton Four Points Gatineau served as a makeshift tripod.

VWS5967 Copyright © VW Selburn 2016: An early rise meant that I was able to walk around the hotel car park and photograph the sun rising above the horizon in Belgium. The sky lightened as the sun rose higher above the horizon, casting its orange glow on the field in front of the car park.

Singapore's everchanging skyline. It seems like everytime I go there, another tall building is reaching up into the sky.
Truly amazing to see these sorts of occurrences even from a distance. It truly does look like the gates of heaven have opened in all their glory.
