I can taste more than feel
This burning inside is so real
I can almost lay my hands upon
The warm glow that lingers on
Moved, lifted higher
Moved, my souls on fire
Moved, by a higher love
I surrender all control
To the desire that consumes me whole
Leads me by the hand to infinity
Lies in wait at the heart of me
Moved, lifted higher
Moved, my souls on fire
Moved, by a higher love
Heaven bound on the wings of love
Theres so much that you can rise above
Moved, lifted higher
Moved, moved, by a higher love
By a higher love
I surrender heart and soul
Sacrificed to a higher goal
Moved, moved by a higher love
By a higher love

Gloucestershire College celebrated the achievements of over 400 higher education students in the grand setting of Gloucester Cathedral at its 24th Higher Awards Ceremony. 103 students graduated in person, across 23 higher education subjects.
Courses recognised at the ceremony, which welcomed Suzanne Hall-Gibbins, Director of Circle2Success as Guest of Honour, included Higher National Certificates in Graphic Design, Computing and Mechanical Engineering, professional qualifications in Leadership and Management, Quality and Accounting to a range of teaching qualifications and a Foundation Degree in Aerospace Computer Systems.
Matthew Burgess, Principal and Chief Executive said: “The Higher Awards Ceremony is a fantastic celebratory occasion, and we are so proud of each and every graduate who has achieved a higher education qualification with us. Each story of individual achievement here today is important.
It’s not easy to study at this level, but it’s worth it. So many of our higher education students go on to successfully secure work in their chosen field, to gain a promotion in their workplace or to progress onto a higher level of study and I wish them all success in the future.”

"The Boars Head" Higher Poynton, a popular pub for walkers and local folk to rest and have a drink or bite to eat. It was also my grandfathers local and after walking the line as a ganger from either Middlewood to Chapel or to Macc he would have called here for a drink before heading home.

Sequoia National Park is a national park in the southern Sierra Nevada, east of Visalia, California in the United States of America. It was established in 1890 as the second U.S. national park, after Yellowstone National Park. The park spans 404,051 acres (1,635 km²). Encompassing a vertical relief of nearly 13,000 feet (3,962.4 meters), the park contains among its natural resources the highest point in the contiguous 48 United States, Mount Whitney, at 14,505 feet (4,421.1 meters) above sea level. The park is south of and contiguous with Kings Canyon National Park; the two are administered by the National Park Service as one unit, called Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. The park is most famous for its Giant Sequoia trees, including the General Sherman tree, the largest tree on Earth. The General Sherman tree grows in the Giant Forest, which contains five out of the ten largest trees in the world, in terms of wood volume. The Giant Forest is connected by the park's Generals Highway to Kings Canyon National Park's Grant Grove, home to the General Grant tree among other sequoias.
