In higher acuity environments, such as the ICU or OR, continuous collection of vital signs data is required. When hospitals implement electronic medical charting through device integration in these environments, the collection of vital signs is automated thereby allowing nursing staff to spend more time on direct patient care, assessment and surveillance.
Capsule's solution is typically deployed in high acuity environments by mounting the Capsule Neuron on the wall, near the patient. The Capsule Neuron then manages the collection of all vital signs from all devices for that patient. The visual display at the bedside provides clinicians with continuous assurance that all patient data is being collected from connected devices and automatically being sent to the EMR waiting for validation when the clinician has time to chart.

Gloucestershire College celebrated the achievements of over 400 higher education students in the grand setting of Gloucester Cathedral at its 24th Higher Awards Ceremony. 103 students graduated in person, across 23 higher education subjects.
Courses recognised at the ceremony, which welcomed Suzanne Hall-Gibbins, Director of Circle2Success as Guest of Honour, included Higher National Certificates in Graphic Design, Computing and Mechanical Engineering, professional qualifications in Leadership and Management, Quality and Accounting to a range of teaching qualifications and a Foundation Degree in Aerospace Computer Systems.
Matthew Burgess, Principal and Chief Executive said: “The Higher Awards Ceremony is a fantastic celebratory occasion, and we are so proud of each and every graduate who has achieved a higher education qualification with us. Each story of individual achievement here today is important.
It’s not easy to study at this level, but it’s worth it. So many of our higher education students go on to successfully secure work in their chosen field, to gain a promotion in their workplace or to progress onto a higher level of study and I wish them all success in the future.”

Where the eagles cry, on a mountain high
Love lift us up where we belong
Far from the world we know
Up where the clear winds blow [...]

Getting higher. Looking down on the village.
The tiny beautiful little hamlet of Saint-Chely-du-Tarn is right in the middle of the gorge, it's where we stayed for 2 nights while visiting the area. I was very fortunate that my girlfriend, who I was travelling with, speaks French and also that the All Blacks are so well known in rugby mad France. We were made very welcome.
