This wreck has probably been buried until recently. it is probaly a mid 19th century trading vessel. Surveyed again by ADUS 13 weeks later, the bow sprit had fallen off.

This shot was taken in the recent visit to Orissa, India. While getting on my car I saw this old man sitting at his Cinnamon shop. It was a hot and humid day, I started to chat with him, he said he has been selling Cinnamon for last 40 years and has seen the world change in front of him.
I requested if I can take a picture, he happily agreed and gave me a wonderful look .

The Stirling Castle was a British warship which sank in the Great Gale of 1703. It is likely that the wreck was totally buried until 1979 when shifting sands reveled that the hull had survived up to the main gun deck. Diving conditions are unpleasant on the site because of poor visibility and strong currents with short tidal windows .

This Digital Terrain Model of debris around the base of the Breakwater Fort in Plymouth Sound shows how well this form of visualization can show the seabed, bur how badly it images wrecks, or any fine detail.
This area was adjacent to a test site set up by ADUS as part of the University of St Andrews Rapid Archaeological Site Survey and Evaluation (RASSE) Project.

Although the Bronze age boat has not survived, the wreck site is marked by irts cargo of over 350 bronze objects, including tools, weapons and jewelry. The finds were all recovered from the gullies in the chalk at a depth of c. 7m. The seabed is deeper to the south east and the solid geology is covered by sediment.
