We needed a flash here at the end, it got so late. This is what we look like after 6000 feet up, 6000 feet down and 22 miles of hiking. Whew!

I see these tree flowers in bloom during the spring, but I have no idea what they are. I love them, though!

The Delaware highpoint is in the middle of the road in a development north of Wilmington.

When Michael first got to High Point, he called me that night. "Guess what? They have a PONY here and it looks JUST LIKE MR. OATS!" He sounded so excited, just like a little kid, and it made me want to pounce him!

Timm's Hill is the highest natural point of elevation in the state of Wisconsin. The elevation is 1,951.5 feet (594.8 metres)

High Point Tower, High Point NJ

There was a little seepy spring on the plateau about a mile from the top. It was still quite misty and cloudy here.

This was the amazing view that greeted us from Trail Crest. Sequoia National Park is spread out below us. The ridge directly across is Mt. Hitchcock with the Hitchcock Lakes below it.

Quite beautiful, but those gathering clouds were not a good sign.
