Following the Sterler's lead of putting license plates on the trough, there are plates from all over the country, including Alaska, nailed up.
At 4567 feet this field is the highest point in Saskatchewan. The spot is not marked in any way so I had a sign made that I left chained on the fence.
Whew! That's the very scary Knife Edge in the background -- which we did NOT climb. Repeat -- did NOT!
This is the more sloping western flank of Mt. Katahdin that we walked up. You can see the trail going horizontally across the picture.
