These little guys are all over the boardwalk, they stay away from the humans for the most part. This one in particular was playing a little hide and seek, but I keep waiting for him to try to sell me insurance.

Leaving Anchorage and heading South down the Seward Highway you see the lovely mountains across Turnagain Arm. Here I captured the interesting clouds and mountains that still have a lot of snow across the waters. The low clouds would sometimes obscure the view so it made me think the mountains were playing hide and seek with me.

I am really loving this. I am always trying to do some new things. In this overall series its more about tonal differences and perspectives. I was talking to Regi the other night and he was saying he liked my art. I Instantly said.. well I know a lot of folks that do amazing art, this is just me expressing. Then I thought how silly that was. So to mix it up and take a little more of a professional stance to push myself. So in this series it is about experimentation through a polished view. When the bees found the Salvia flowers, I noticed only the back half of their bodies would be visible for a short while. All in a days work, I guess!
Snowmen everywhere around the neighbourhood! People are getting quite creative these day, with so much time on their hands, due to Covid!
The sun illuminates these rocks that could be likened to an elephant's hide. These were formed by volcanic activity in the Devonian period (300-400 million years ago).
This Red-bellied Woodpecker (m) seemed determined to explore all of the nooks and crannies on this amazing bark in order to find any tasty snacks that might have taken refuge there.

Another shot of this gorgeous staircase from Hide Restaurant in Piccadilly, It's definitely one of my favourites in the city.
There's not a lot else to say about this shot, but I think I have one more to come from here with a more classic composition so look out for that at a later date.
