I had the honor of volunteering my time and photography services to Harper Haven, a local non-profit organization in the Lancaster area of the Antelope Valley, which provides support services for women and families through their outreach "Hello Beautiful"
It was time well spent being encouraged and inspired by the amazing work this organization is doing with zero funding but a lot of heart, compassion and respect.

Suicide is a problem that has gotten worse in the past couple of years. Understandably it is not a subject people like to talk about and the WHO has recommendations about how the subject should be approached in the media, but I definitely feel we can't just go about our lives ignoring it completely.
