Thx for your visit, fav's & nice Comments...

I miss the good old days when people commented on my photos. I wonder how many of you know that I've been married for almost 3 months now...

My wife and I have been watching the Harry Potter movies.

Looks like one of the boys resolutions this year is to help out more around the house.

What good boys!

-- Yes, Zachary will actually fill a basket with laundry on cue, either from the floor or from the dryer.

He will also empty a basket, either onto the floor or into the dryer.

He loves this trick and gets very excited when asked to perform it. :)

I should add that there is a reason I use towels as props, since this is not the trick for laundry that doesn't like to get a bit… damp.

Not sure which picture I like so I'll upload them both.

I took this on Sunday in St Albans before the clouds came back over. There is a fence there, but I love the back of these houses - especially with those chimneys and blue sky. Grotty weather here again now but it was lovely to have dry weather, blue sky and sunshine for a while.

Happy Fenced Friday peeps - will catch up with comments asap. Just been busy with helping out ex-colleagues with Ofsted visits, running book group evenings, organising more printing, and most importantly, celebrating my hubby's birthday :)

Helping each other getting out of the driveways. It was a terrible night and many were stranded in stores for the night and we have 100s cars in the ditch this morning.

Anand is wrapped in a silk scarf made with a hand embroidery.

This artcraft is done by ladies involved in several workshops that we have settled with GURIA, a Human Rights organisation fighting against the sexual exploitation of women and children, particularly those forced into prostitution and trafficking.

Each scarf is unique and made in sarees provided by many women in Benaras who take this opportunity to get rid of pieces that they brought in order to celebrate happy moments, festivals or parties.

Those accessories carry traces of happiness in their yarns...

Anand, our icon model, shows his body for the purpose of this brotherhood and happiness chain as this is a way to catch the attention on this fight for Human Rights and human dignity.

Persistent rain on Sunday morning meant I went to explore a small woodland just down the road. Lots of amazing trees and the low cloud and rain made for some lovely atmospheric conditions.

“Hello Sky, what are you up to today?”

“I’m busy Bertie, poor Posh needs my help ever so much.”

“What is wrong then? He seemed all right a few minutes ago when I saw him walking this way.”

“Well, he probably doesn’t know he needs my help but I am going to help him anyway.”

“Is that his honey you are eating Sky?”

“It was, but it has almost all gone now. He is going to be so please I helped him if he finds out Bertie.”

“How are you helping him then Sky?”

“I was just looking at his stash of honey this morning, you know, as you do, when I thought that some must be almost past their best before date so I am helping him use it up.”

“I see, don’t you think he could have managed on his own then Sky?”

“No, impossible Bertie, I mean, how could he have ever allowed himself to get in this serious situation of having to throw away jars of honey if he were capable of managing it himself?”

“I see, yes I can under stand that Sky. That jar has a date of 2022 though Sky so I don’t think that is too old.”

“Ah, well, yes this was a mistake I admit that. I should have found one that had less sleeps on it but fret not, look I have another one here that has less sleeps before it is due to be thrown away.”

“No Sky, that has the same 2022 on it as this one.”

“Is that so Bertie? Well I am shocked. I suppose I had better take that back to his stash and check the other jars then.”

“Hello you two, what are you doing with my honey?” Asked Posh Bear as he sat down beside them.

“I’m helping you out Posh, this jar was old and needed taking care of and that one there is faulty.” Said Sky.

“Faulty? How so, it looks fine to me?”

“It says on the label Posh, look, it says enough for twenty-three servings and there is no way you could ever squeeze all those servings out of that little jar. I intend to prove it then we’ll get the man to write to the buzzy things and complain and see if they send us free jars to make up for it.”

“Yes, that is right Posh, so then you’ll receive lots of free jars from the buzzy things to make allowance for their mistake from all the past jars you have eaten.” Added Bertie

“Yes, and because we helped you eat it Posh, some of it should be given to us. What is more Posh, I’m not even going to take any honey in payment for the testing, that is free.” Said Sky grinning.

Posh scratched his head trying to work out what was wrong with this plan.

“You guys always seem to catch him first thing in the morning when I’m not fully awake. Oh well, free honey must be a good idea I suppose.” Said Posh.

A helping hand for an Angel flying to close to the ground!

A capture that I recently came across, taken years ago, that has meaning to me. Angels are all around us, we just sometimes don't know it.

Enjoy the Story!

This morning train #2932 couldn't complete its run from Bp. Nyugati to Lajosmizse, after a mechanical failure at Ócsa.

Ganz locomotive M41 2185 was dispatched from Ferencváros to collect the inoperable trainset and bring it back to Nyugati, but due to railway line 142 only having a single track, it took a while to find a time gap when the unusual consist could return to Budapest without throwing the other passenger trains off schedule.
