I helped at the Gourmet Ski Fundraiser at the Nordic Trails last night. There were 5 stations around the track serving food. 5 countries were represented, Japan, India, South Africa , Morroco and Italy. It was a lot of fun and the food was excellent. This was the Japanese station that I managed.

Today alone 1,450 refugees, most from Syria and Afghanistan went via Thessaloniki coach station on their way to the Greek - FYR Macedonian border. Their eventual destination is somewhere in northern Europe that will offer them asylum.
