A few shots of the beautiful fountains from the movie Hello Dolly! by 20th Century Fox. One of the fountains was sold to Knott's Berry Farm and installed in the Roaring 20s section of the theme park in 1975.
Me as Barnaby Tucker and Nathan Buchanan as Cornelius Hackl in Moore County High School's 1989 production of "Hello, Dolly!", directed by our band director, Carol Grooms, and sets by my theatre-loving father.

Thank you!
Taken from the window of a restaurant where we went to eat after looking at the menu, later realizing we had gone into the wrong place and it was way swankier than we could afford so we bolted.
This is obviously not me.
I saw this man and I was like: HOW YOU DOOOOOOOOIN? and I can not tell you what color his eyes were, what his name was, or what he was saying.....................I was like: HOW YOU DOOOOOOOOIN DADDY! This is why I love Monday Nights in Chicago! WOOF! United House only place in Boys town that plays good House Music on a Monday night. It is called United House because we invite all. Under one roof enjoy some good House music. Dress up, paint up we take pictures too!
It only takes a moment is a song from Hello Dolly and was used in Pixar's Walle... which was great... as was the original musical. I love old musicals and i don't really know a lot of people who do so when I get the desire to watch one i feel weird. But I still love it. So after Walle I went and rented this movie and watched it.
"Out there
Theres a world outside of Yonkers
Way out there beyond this hick town
Barnaby
There's a slick town
Barnaby
Out there
Full of shine and full of sparkle
Close your eyes and see it glisten
Barnaby
Listen, Barnaby...
Put on your Sunday clothes
There's lots of world out there
Get out the brillantine and dime cigars
We're gonna find adventure in the eveing air
Girls in white in a perfumed night
Where the lights are bright as the stars
Put on your Sunday clothes we're gonna ride through town
In one of those new horsedrawn open cars
We'll see the shows at Delmonicos
And we'll close the town in a whirl
And we won't come home until we've kissed a girl!!!"
song of the day: Out There, from the musical, Hello, Dolly!, composed by Jerry Herman
sung by the character, Cornelius Hackl.
Best performance ever: Paul
Sadly, that performance was not captured on video, so this one will just have to do... ;)
Taken during the rehearsal of Dramatech's current musical - Helllo, Dolly!
IITD campus and Dramatech - the theatre group are very close to my heart.
Last Saturday, I dropped at the rehearsal to say Hi to the Hello, Dolly! team.
Theatre has taken a backseat in my life...by choice.
I miss Dramatech and I really, really miss the good old 'Fiddler on the roof' days :(
Hope to get back to theatre someday.
Went to the Shubert Theatre to see the ABSOLUTE best Broadway show I seen: Hello Dolly with Bette Midler. It was a fantastic show...had a great time...even cried just a little bit; I liked it that much.
