The Hotel Kaleden went from five stars to billions. Built in 1910, it operated until World War I, after which it was dismantled. Since the 40s its shell has stood there as one of the most iconic heritage buildings in the Okanagan. At night, in the quiet charm of darkness, you can see countless stars through its windows. The sky now acts as its roof.
I spotted this Bald Eagle while looking for wild horses to photograph. I found them and will share some pictures of them tomorrow, but for today's picture I must go with this beautiful bird looking for prey in the valley underneath the tree.

I really wanted to get a full day of SilverStar Bike Park in this summer and I managed to squeeze it in on the last day of the season. Unfortunately it was the long weekend so it was quite busy and line ups took up to 30min at times but I think I got 7 laps in. All the skinnies first .
