It is camellia season here already. I took this image yesterday in my garden. Bees are loving it and so am I.

I love these tiny wildflowers called Blue-Eyed Grass. They are currently in full bloom all over local trails. This image is from the trail I was on yesterday.

A great place to take some floral and plant images are outdoor plant nurseries. I went to my favorite 100+ years old family owned nursery the other day to pick up a pineapple guava tree and came back with some pictures of their beautiful plants.....plus an additional fig tree, another geranium and peperomia raindrop for my house. π

One of the clematis I have in my garden. This one has very large flowers and a lovely purple colour with pink stripes on the petals.
Somewhere in Saint Petersburg, upside down puddle.
The churches and palaces are gold but the streets are silver.

Some morning light from an early walk few days ago. It has been hot around here, so one has to go walking no later than 7-7:30am for the temperatures to still be reasonable.

I have not posted any images with insects in a while, so here is one of more recent ones I took of this lady bug sleeping inside the flower petals. I have spotted this lady bug on one of the morning walks in the neighborhood.

These little orchid rockroses are blooming everywhere now around here. Their color is amazing and the petals look like a thin wrinkled paper.

I went on this little trail along the San Diego River over the weekend and it did not have anything especially interesting in terms of native plants that I have not seen or photographed before, but the wooden fence along the both sides of the trail with plenty of daisies was very pretty. So, fence photography it is. :-) I could not pass this golden bokeh galore opportunity, especially since I had Helios with me.

It finally started to feel like Fall around here. I took this image last year with my Helios44-2. Now is prime time for finding spiderwebs with some dew on them. One just need to get out of the door early enough in the morning to catch them before the sun is fully out. :-)
