One of my first images with my new Helios lens. It will take some getting used to, but I like it!

The incomparable Helios 44M. It took me awhile to warm to this lens but now I'm in love. I find it best to edit very little and accept the softness, low saturation and low contrast.

I like this Helios the best ( I used F2.0 Fstop on this one.) I like this DOF best too and I used a photo light on the table in this one only.
Also the Helios creates light flares off the glasses. Love that.

This is just a small portion of a 24' tall stainless-steel statue with a reflective, mirrored, sphere base in downtown Little Rock, Arkansas. Hunter Brown (the artist) says that it was inspired by the helix form, most recognized from DNA, the building blocks of life. If you zoom in you'll see a hidden selfie too.

Helios-Leuchtturm der Helios-Werke, die am Ende des 19. Jh. unter anderem Lichtanlagen für Leuchttürme gebaut haben. Der 40 Meter hohe Leuchtturm wurde zu Testzwecken errichtet und die kürzeste Distanz zum Meer beträgt ca. 250 km.
The Helios AG für elektrisches Licht und Telegraphenanlagenbau was a German electrical engineering company. Founded in 1882 it existed until its liquidation in 1930. The company was based in the town of Ehrenfeld, which was incorporated into Cologne in 1888. The company is nowadays mostly known for the Heliosturm, a lighthouse on the former site of the factory that was constructed for test and research purposes.
Thijs goes to the forest when I'm taking pictures of mushrooms, but it's not easy yet, he's still young 10 months but he likes the bike so he's enjoying it
