A weighty exhibition of Anselm Kiefer has just opened in Museum Voorlinden. Preparations involved a lot of muscle power and heavy machinery. Here a library of lead books is installed.

After the heavy rain we are receiving strong winds
Northwest winds gusting to 100 km/h.
A juvenile Australian gannet flies overhead, as the famous Manly ferry – which runs between Sydney and Manly – makes heavy weather of crossing the water around the Sydney heads (not pictured) on a very stormy late Autumn day. I was able to take a few long exposure shots before I was hit by the rain. I think this was the last one since it had lots of rain drops on the lens.
Still seeking a better shot of these flighty little devils. More heavily processed than my usual tastes - very low light and a lot of noise to deal with (brightness boosted a stop in LR).

Passing by East Portal Siding, BNSF SD70ACe. No. 8541 leads a heavy westbound sand train up the continental divide, along the UP Moffat Tunnel Subdivision.

2015 Challenge, Week 25 - MACRO: METAL
Shooting metal is quite heavy - so I decided to go for HEAVY METAL ;-)
This pic shows the vibrato/bridge of my electric guitar in the scale of 1:1,3 shot with the Nikon 105 2.8 macro lens on my D800.

Heavy rains this morning and then all sunshine!
As this very colorful! and loud! umbrella was drying it reminded me of a butterfly
Heavy sea smoke pours of the ocean water as -10 degree air moves on a 20 mph wind. Whaleback Lighthouse can be seen from Great Island Common in New Castle, New Hampshire, just a few miles from downtown Portmouth.
