Heavy Aircraft - American White Pelicans aren't a subject I photograph often, but they can be quite enjoyable to observe fishing and taking off/landing. After all, an approximately 20 lb bird with a belly full of rainbow trout certainly makes a splash!

I sat at the water's edge and held my camera over the water and used the flip screen to focus and frame the bird in this situation.

Heavy snowfall on the Southwest Corridor Park path.

Thick Fog, full moon and Eastham Oil Terminal providing the backlighting hidden in the fog.

This field has a bit of a slope and with the fog heavy on the right the straightened natural horizon looked weird. So, i have straightened it a bit artificially, resulting in me looking like i'm leaning into the shot. I kind of think it suits the mood of the photo.

You can see the snow is coming down quite heavily in our area, in both our parking lot as well as across the street. It didn't take long before the snow piled up and make traveling treacherous.
