When cooking eggs, transparent egg white turns to solid white because heat makes the protein denaturing which involves the break down of the bonds in the amino-acid strings.
I used the rhinestone circle and the rhinestone word "dance" then added the ballet shoes in pink fuzzy heat transfer to the middle of the circle.

This was taken as part of the HooHaa52 Challenge. This week's topic was "Up Close".
We were learning about Conduction, Convection, and Radiation in class this week. One of our demos involved boiling some water, then talking about how all three forms of Heat Transfer can be experienced in just this demonstration. I started forming an idea for a photo.
At the end of the week, I started taking photos before going home for the weekend. This was not my original idea, but as I started trying different things, this angle was among the last I tried. As I started attempting the shots, I realized that this was the angle I wanted. A number of attempts were made as I didn't have a tripod and I wanted a longer exposure to really get the detail in the flame and the wire mesh, particularly with how the flame spreads out along the mesh. This isn't so easy to see in the photos I took, but I did like how this came out. Even though the original focus of my efforts was the flame itself, this shot showed three different aspects of the demo: the flame, the heating of the wire mesh, and the bubbles rising.
