On May 15, 2019, the Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences brought together outstanding student scholarship award winners in the health sciences and the generous donors who helped make their achievements possible.
Pitt Community College students and alumni met with area employers today as part of the college’s “Health Sciences Career Fair” in the Craig F. Goess Student Center.
The fair was the second this week organized by PCC Career Services to give students a chance to market their skills and gain an appreciation of what they have to offer employers.

The College of Education, Nursing and Health Professions at the University of Hartford held its fourth annual ENHP Day on April 22, 2015 to showcase student and faculty scholarly and research endeavors. The daylong event featured 108 student and faculty presentations, keynote speakers Dr. Yolanda Sealey-Ruiz (Teachers College at Columbia University) and Dr. Maria Itayra Padilha (Federal University of Santa Catarina, Brazil), conferring of the first "excellence through relevance Faculty Research Award" to Dr. Beth Taylor, an early childhood education mixer, and a fun reception for all.

由於醫學昌明，人類壽命漸長，於是對於健康生活及營養補充品的要求日增，故擁有專業資格的營養師便甚為吃香。澳洲在營養學的研究成就卓越，又有悠久的歷史，而當中的Flinders University更在此範疇享負盛名。現該校代表Mrs Carolyn McLean 將蒞臨「aec教育顧問」 講解如何取得營養師資格。
本港現時仍未有提供具備專業認可資格的營養師課程，學生如有興趣成為執業營養師，便只能選擇到海外升學，而眾多國家之中，以澳洲最受本港學生歡迎。受到香港特別行政區政府衛生署及香港醫院管理局之認可專業資格課程中，亦包括澳洲營養師協會Dietitians Association of
Australia (DAA)所指定的澳洲課程。
凡完成Flinders University的 Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics課程的學生，均可成為DAA的會員，即可在澳洲、香港、英國、新西蘭及新加坡等地執業。
若同學未能直接入讀Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics，可先修讀Bachelor of Health Sciences (Nutrition) 課程 ，成績優異的學生可申請轉讀Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics的三年級課程。學生亦可完成Bachelor of Health Science (Nutrition) 後再進修 Master of Nutrition and Dietetics，成為執業營養師。
營養學系畢業生在澳洲及世界各地都有很多工作機會,。 除應用於人類生理學的基本知識外，也有很多屬於研究性質的工作, 尤其在農業, 藥學和公共衛生方面。全球便有很多大學、政府機關、公立醫院、研究機構、製藥和食物生產公司等，都需要曾修讀營養科學的人才。
更重要的是，營養行業在香港發展前景明朗，學生取得專業資格後可回港投身相關機構，如醫院、衞生部門、安老院、社會服務、醫療機構等，甚至可選擇私人執業，為市民提供健康服務。
Flinders也提供其他學位課程包括: 會計、健康科學、商業、護理及言語治療。有興趣的學生及家長，可透過是次活動更深入了解不同課程及南澳的學習和生活環境。
