I got to spend today with K. We went for a run around Damflask this morning while the sun was shining and the skies were clear and then treated ourselves to lunch at the cafe.

This is K having a go on O's Star Wars AR headset that she got for Christmas. He decided to pair it with her flashing headphones for a unique look.

Work in progress - putting a Bluetooth telephone headset back together amalgamated with vacuum tube radio headphones and a former telephone's mouthpiece. One earpiece works and the Bluetooth mike is on the mouthpiece. Later need to complete the attachment hook for the mouthpiece.

I bought this headset for running, but soon one of the earphones went mute, the everlasting problem of most headsets (a broken cord).

She opened her daddy’s package while he was taking a nap. she put the headset over her head, then started a business talk!

my husband woke up and complained that was for a customer... well... too bad~ :)

Sweet. Just like when I was 16. Plus my phone gets hot as blazes after about 10 minutes of talking so this is perfect. From Curiosity Shoppe.

Cool to measure my brainwaves in real-time as I'm meditating with the Versus Headset.

Cane Creek is about to introduce a headset with an integrated steering damper devise intended to mitigate shimmy. They're calling it "Viscoset". So far it's only available for 1.125" steerers, because it's aimed at the E-bike and down-hill markets. Low trail randonneuring bikes seem to be predisposed to low speed, no hands, shimmy; but most of those bikes have 1" steerers. I got my hands of a few pre-release Visocets and I made my own cups to adapt them to bikes with 1" steerers. I've got one on my bike, which did have the no hands shimmy, and the shimmy is totally gone. Fingers crossed that Cane Creek makes a 1" version.

Yes! There, hidden amongst the cords ... it IS my headset, carefully camouflaged.

According to the seller, this is a Suntour Superbe Pro NJS headset...

NOTE: not my pic, not my bike, not mine at all...

Update: got an email from the seller, the headset is not NJS...

They saved me some labor.....

With this headset, you can run an 1 1/8 NON-Tapered fork in an older bike that normally takes a American Standard 1" threaded headset (32mm). Fits old Schwinns and other American cruiser bikes, some bmx bikes and some older mountain bikes. Made in the USA, 45.00 shipped. Made out of steel, not for weight weenines. www.genuinebicycleproducts.com
