Using new equipment from the Iowa Northern, the Hawkeye Express departs the commuter station in Coralville, IA to deliver another load of University of Iowa football fans to Kinnick Stadium prior to the game. The ex-Metra cabcar was not yet ready for service, so IAIS 704 was filling in its place.

An unwitting pairing.

I cut his ears a little shorter this time. Poor guy, he's pretty much had it with the primping today! I tried to get a whole body shot, but he wasn't having it. I'm kinda missing my wooly little boy, but this will be a whole lot easier to dry at the lake.

The University of Iowa baseball team has had a good season, with a 39-16 record and nationally ranked. We were in Minneapolis and caught one of their games in the Big Ten tournament, which unfortunately wasn't so good as they lost to Indiana 10-2.

A few photos from RAF Leuchars from a few weeks ago when the Fife base hosted a French Navy carrier wing for the duration of exercise "Joint Warrior". The E-2 Hawkeye returned after the sun had set and the light was rather low, which allowed me to try for full prop-discs. Something I hadn't attempted previously with any success.

so far.. I have to wait for the next installments of Captain Action to come out to finish him haha
