Drew Geraci, inker extraordinaire and my new comics idol. His knowledge of Hawkeye rivals (and surpasses!) my own. At last: someone else who could quote dialogue from the Marvel Super Heroes cartoon, recognized the Dave Cockrum FOOM art on my t-shirt and knew all about the awesome Sam Kweskin Daredevil & Black Widow #99 issue and he's a Don Heck fan too. A kindred spirit!!! All weekend I'd been collecting sketches of Hawkeye from different artists... and Drew contributed this gem, which is one of my favourites. He has a staggering knowledge of comics. I cannot say enough good things about this guy. I was a bit loopy on the weekend so I hope I didn't pester him too much!

Original building (exposed roof structure) was designed by Caudill Rowlett Scott, an architectural firm who employed me as architect at the time the building was constructed. In 1984 it received national AIA Honor Award and in 2004 it was selected by Iowa AIA as one of top 100 Iowa buildings of the 20th century.
Building addition (transparent facade and darker fascia) was designed by collaborating architects HNTB and Neumann Monson.

With no powers to fall back on, the Avengers' brash archer Clint Barton relies on Olympic-level conditioning, dedication and a cache of trick arrows to defeat his enemies.
Thanks to Michael Raso of the Film Photography Project selling 620 spools, I was able to load some film into my Brownie Hawkeye. Respooling was easier than anticipated. Now, the Brownie doesn't hang up when using 120 reels.
Nice!!
