Lancaster Public Library won the 2015 Battle of the Books reading competition. Congratulations to all of the hardworking teams, coaches, volunteers and parents for helping to make this event so successful. There were a total of 33 teams, representing 20 different Buffalo & Erie County Public Libraries! Nearly 240 participants and an audience of 500! Marilla Free Library was runner-up. Everyone did a great job!

Today we celebrated my dad's birthday which falls on February 29. We went all the way to Malabon to visit our relatives, and since my siblings are nerds, er, extremely hardworking medical students, they brought their laptops to do their reports in my relatives' house.

"PATIENCE DISCIPLINE HARDWORK" Tiga kata kunci inilah satu-satunya cara agar anda bisa survive dalam bidang apapun yang anda tekuni. Sekali anda memilih satu bidang, maka anda harus sabar, disiplin, dan penuh dedikasi dalam melaksanakannya. Jika anda merasa tidak sanggup, jangan dipaksakan, karena hasilnya tidak akan membuat anda puas.
Dalam trading yang merupakan bidang yang saya pilih, tidak ada kata lain, anda harus
1.Sabar, tidak ada cara cepat menjadi kaya. Jika cara cepat menjadi kaya itu ada, maka setiap orang di bumi ini tidak akan ada yang miskin. Anda harus sabar menyaksikan uang anda tumbuh perlahan-lahan. Sedikit demi sedikit lama-lama menjadi bukit. Anda juga harus paham resiko yang anda ambil. Trading baik itu trading forex, saham, option, futures, oil, gold, etf, maupn commodity tidak terlepas dari resiko. Anda harus memperhitungkan resiko yang 'dapat anda terima'. Ingat, trading bukanlah judi. Sekali anda menganggap bahwa trading adalah judi maka anda akan disapu habis oleh market!
2.Disiplin, disiplin disini berarti tetap konsisten pada sistem dan rules trading yang telah anda sepakati. Ini berkaitan dengan poin nomor satu, yaitu sabar. Penyebab utama seseorang melanggar disiplinnya adalah karena ketidaksabaran. Saya kira hal ini tidak hanya dialami oleh para trader, tetapi juga hampir bidang kehidupan yang lain. Percaya diri dengan sistem anda karena dalam trading yang menjadi masalah bukanlah sistemnya, tetapi anda sendirilah sumber masalah tersebut. Teman-teman trader saya yang sukses menggunakan sistem yang menurut saya sangat sederhana sekali namun mereka memiliki disiplin yang luar biasa dan sabar dalam menunggu momen. Ingat, 'It's better to have no trade than trade against your own rules!'.
3.Kerja keras, trading juga membutuhkan kerja keras. Kerja keras untuk mau belajar dan terus belajar. Dengan belajar dari pengalamanlah kita dapat mengasah skill dan keahlian kita dalam trading. Ingat, tidak ada yang instan di dunia ini, semua harus melalui sebuah proses yang dinamakan belajar. Yang terpenting adalah anda tahu cara untuk mendapatkan konstan profit. Seseorang bisa saja mendapatkan ratusan pips dalam semalam namun keesokan harinya ia loss lebih banyak dari untungnya tersebut, dan percayalah bahwa 9 dari 10 orang mengalami hal seperti ini.
When Chief Philanthropy Officer Kristin Bertell came on board at City of Hope last year, she brought with her a “super” idea to keep our hardworking staff feeling appreciated and inspired. The Superhero Social Committee was formed to maintain a healthy dose of community and camaraderie among our employees. A fall festival kicked off the team, followed by a holiday party in December. But what better time to spread love and laughter than Valentine’s Day? The very word “philanthropy” is derived from the Greek words meaning “love of human kind,” and the social committee was out in full force doing just that. They delivered gift boxes to 31 nurses’ stations and set up posters in high-traffic areas that included messages of love and inspiration inspired by the campus' Tree of Hope for our patients, visitors, employees, nurses and physicians.

How are all the beautiful bricks of Bhakatpur made, and who works in the brick factories around the city? Ratna Prasad Prajapati, the owner of KP Brick Industry, invited me for tea and told me how he started small 30 years ago and now employs 400 men and women to produce high-quality bricks. He said the cheap competition from China and India makes life difficult for them. Could I take photos on the premises? the hardworking nature of the worker in a small mustard oil refinery factory caught my attention when I was passing in front of that factory. the bare body of the worker with the old machine, old house internal structure in the background really suits for the snap.

but i came on sunday. only sunday.
why?
because i have a bigger life outside the office.
i already spend 5 days a week there.
i dun think spending 7 days a week in the office will do me any good.
