Men are made stronger on realization that the helping hand they need is at the end of their own arm. ~Sidney J. Phillips
How are all the beautiful bricks of Bhakatpur made, and who works in the brick factories around the city? Ratna Prasad Prajapati, the owner of KP Brick Industry, invited me for tea and told me how he started small 30 years ago and now employs 400 men and women to produce high-quality bricks. He said the cheap competition from China and India makes life difficult for them. Could I take photos on the premises? Of course, he was delighted by my interest! #nepal #brickfields #hardwork #tradition #bhaktapur

One of the most creative and hardworking pair in Bharatanatyam that I have come across in recent times is Shijith and Parvathy. Both of them have had their grinding at Kalakshetra, Chennai. Their work portryas spiritual power of Bharatanatyam. Their passion and dedication, along with adherence to the traditions, make them very special.

The group choreographies are equally good, need more coordination. The photos here amply demostrate what they can produce.
