February Alphabet Fun Month 2025 edition
The Vise-Grip brand of locking pliers has been a very useful tool for over a century. Most commonly used to hold metal in place for welding, I've used them for everything from turning a broken valve handle, to holding my lawn mower together until I could repair it.
The 10WR model is 10 inches long, and has a wire cutter behind the jaws, above the '10.' (For those unfamiliar with 'inches,' see my letter I entry for this month.)

Hey everyone.....Happy December!!!
Sorry I'm not around much anymore, I'm running out of time to do everything for work, the photo sessions, and life in general.
Today I decided I needed to get the tree up and decorated, not a quick task with my tree. I have been a little "Christmas decorating crazy" over the years, and have amassed a HUGE collection. Now it's SO much work to get the 20 boxes of stuff in from the garage, drag it in, put all the other things away, put decorations up, repack the boxes, haul back to the garage.....then do it in reverse in another month.....eeeek!!
So of course, could I begin this task today without taking out my camera??
It seems not. So here's the tree, lights on, but no decorations yet. And of course my coffee and muffin!
Have a good week everyone!

Cuoca, autista, insegnante, psicologa, life coach, contabile, manager, addetta alle pulizie, operaia, lavandaia, babysitter.

This drill is about 35 years old, still works, is still in use and has never needed any maintenance.
The red part is the bit that you turn by hand and has been unscrewed from the drill to reveal the insides. You can see top left where it screws onto. It's a really simply and effective tool.

Well, I must confess that I'm very good at fixing all kinds of things in the house, and that I know a lot about tools, a girl as clumsy as I should know how to fix things too. :)
I was "spinning" the theme #HandTools trying to make some original photo, and while I was playing with my nephews a visual game I thought about spinning that disc in a screwdriver.... yes, a little twisted idea ...

I was so sick this weekend I didn't think I was going to be able to post anything. I was using last night and I do feel a good bit better today. Thankfully I made it home from work in time to shoot this one.
