Autumn is my favorite season. I love Summer, but Autumn still wins. I love the crisp air, the hot soups, the warm blankets and all of the rich, beautiful colors. I love handmade items. I love hand quilting, embroidery and applique. I also love machine quilting and piecing. I love it all. Have fun and make something you would like to have. I'll love it.

A set of 5 little bird cards made using some offcuts of patterned papers

Today I worked on making more cards for the Etsy shop. These are mini-prints of some of my watercolor sketches - I hand draw the circles with Pigma Micron pens and then paint them with various watercolors.
It took the entire afternoon to calibrate the printer for each of the designs, but after putting it off for so long, I'm glad I tackled it! Maybe someday I'll be brave enough to figure out how to do large prints (the printer is large format).
Packs of these cards will be available in my Etsy shop.
My original design, tatted with hand dyed thread, corrugated brass beads, metal gears, and seed beads.
These uniquely shaped earrings feature four olive green Czech glass faceted rounds on handformed antique copper rectangles. The faceted beads catch the light so beautifully and reflect an absolute rainbow of colour.

More boxes made from recycled wool sweaters. The brown, blue and orange fabric is a vintage print. Glass beads accent the corners where they've been nipped and tucked. See my profile for more info.
