Like CINDERELLA but using a different coloured polymer clay bead and metal finish. This is a creation using an antique gold finish.
cute way to use your very smallest rests of your favorite fabrics -here I used circles w/ diameter 7-10cm for the bodies and 2,5-3cm for the eyes
I decided to take a day off to have a long weekend today. I got up early and cleared up my desk (a couple of things that I did not finish yesterday) before 8:30 this morning and then declared to have my annual leave.
What have I been doing today then on my leave? This!
This is Rowan fabric. It is absolutely gorgeous. I bought it at a discount. I did not buy it when I saw it the first time, but I kept thinking about it so I had to go back to get it. Again, I did not plan to make this but this turns out exactly as I expected after I finished the owl clutch.
My sister said it should have slots for notes, so instead of having 12 credit card slots this one has 6 card slots and 2 notes slots. The clutch is roomy I can put my Sony Z3 mobile and there is still plenty of room left for lipstick, tissue pack, and even a small coin pouch.
This is a perfect night out/party clutch.
Midnight blue chunky facetted beads teamed with dark blue Goldstone and stunning Swarovski gold pearls.
Five beautifully made replacement pieces.. I'd love to know when they were made and by whom. The eBay seller from whom I bought the puzzle didn't know. The pieces are the same thickness of plywood, and the pieces have been painted so well that when I had finished the jigsaw I had a hard time remembering which were the replacements. On some the colour has faded with time, otherwise it would be almost impossible to find them. Oh I do wish I knew when are where these pieces had been made - with such skill.

I have been busy these past few weeks working on a pretty huge project for Handmade Nation. The awesome documentary is going to have a companion book published by Princeton Architectural Press. These few photos are samples of hundreds of drawings of the names of the people that will be represented in the book and film. I am also working on a new wave craft timeline as well. Wheeee!
