All done! So fucking adorable, I can't stand it! The pattern is here.

ready to start the gusset increases

First pair of colorwork socks I've finished knitting. I think they came out pretty awesome. The neon green yarn is something I dyed, and the red-orange one is Wollmeise.

The first month of the year was all about knitting. One pair of socks for mum, five for me!

Not because I needed that many socks, I just needed to do a lots of thinking and knitting helps to do that...

cap sleeve sweater turned cardigan for KCWC, blogged here.

This bunny is handknit on 000 addi turbo needles. I used Black Angel fingering weight wool from Maggie's Farm in Lawrence, Kansas. I used wool roving from Barbara Clark's farm for the filling or stuffing. The dress is made from a soft blue 2 ply cashmere knit and the underskirt is new cotton fabric. She has two black glass beads for eyes.

For Liz

This was a "mystery" project (we didn't know what it would look like until we were done knitting it), and not entirely successful, but I do love the colors and the way they play together. I may turn this into a blanket.

There is a broad swath of glowing, juicy fuchsia and red-purple that looks flat and dull in these pics. No matter how I manipulate it, my camera seems to not see those colors.

I knit these from leftover sock yarn - fun to make!

I am redesigning the Parasol Doll website and it should be ready to launch this weekend! There will be a little giveaway in celebration. I'm pretty excited!
