Five of my hand knit hats from 2024, though one wasn't finished until 6/1/2025. I knitted six other hats which were all gift or charity knits, plus mitts, cowls, a shawl and a sweater.

I think he'd be a good mate for Blythe ;o)

next time, I'll make it's mouth open with a tongue hanging out! ;o)

A beautifully hand knit toddler sweater in a lovely green cotton. Thanks, ma!

If your head is in the clouds, your hands should be, too! These mittens are made to match my Head in the Clouds Hood, seen here:

A nice long wrist ribbing (3") will cover the gap between your sleeves and your hands, usually missed by most mittens and gloves! From the fuzzy mutli-colored edge to the top of the gloves is 10.25". From the base of the palm to the tip of the thumb is approx. 5".

They're soft and warm and fun and will definitely make you wave your hands in the air!

The pictures don't show the purple well, so you can see the color better here:

The purple is much less blue than the pictures I have!

The purple yarn is 100% Acrylic, and the multicolored poofy yarn is 68% Acrylic/32% Nylon.

The Afghans for Afghans project has requested several pairs of mittens, handknit with wool yarn.

I'm doing my best to get one pair made. I'm halfway there! (Just finishing up the thumb on the first mitten now.)

well, do ya, punk?

It's chilly in Houston today! I went through my sock drawer, and I have 12 pairs of lovely, unworn handknit socks to select from!

Got your head in the clouds? Keep it warm with a soft, fuzzy, multi-colored knit hood! The hood has an attached purple crocheted scarflette that closes with a wooden button. There are also two fuzzy multicolored ties with purple tassles that you can tie to keep it closed tight, or wear them both open...both look equally cute! A hood is a great alternative to a hat, because it is less likely to muss up your hair, while still keeping your head, neck and ears toasty warm!

The scarflette closes to give 15" neck allowance, but will stretch. If you need it to fit a narrower or wider neck, please just give the needed allowance in the note to seller, and I will adjust the button to fit! (up to 18") The ties are each 16" long (not including tassels). The front of the hood (at center forehead) to base of neck (where hood joins scarflette at center back of neck) is 12.5".

Matching Mittens are also available! You can see them here:

This is a dress I made for my granddaughters namegiving. It is my own design and I am very proud of it. It is made from Lanett baby wool and knitted on pins nr. 2,5. The flowers and the shoes are crocheted.

For a co-worker's birthday. The pink/white yarn on the top was from a recycled sweater I got at the good will.

This afghan was spun from luxury fibers such as alpaca and cashmere and all in the natural colors of the animals themselves. It is super soft and true luxury to snuggle in.

I still have a bit of work to do on this one, I would like a wider hat band design w/ leaves and I still need to tweak the brim... this one was made more for working out the size and shaping. So far I love it and it is so comfy!! Its still pointy and gnomey... maybe more of a woodland sprite!

I started it years ago. We had a great relationship, but I was fickle. I moved on, to other yarns, other patterns. How could I be so heartless?

I think I'll start dating this scarf again...

it's always so exciting when a garment is finished. This one is intended for keeping guests cozy warm.

I made these from the pattern found in Knitting In America. It's essentially 4 mittens (2 are the linings) all knit in fingering weight wool on size 000 and 0000 needles...aka BICYCLE SPOKES! They took me six months to make and I gave them to my father-in-law for Christmas several years ago. He treasures them so much that he barely wears them in fear of getting them dirty or losing them. One of these years...I'll make a pair for myself.

There's nothing better than a warm pair of hand knitted mitts:)

I've made a lot of stripey things in the past few years.
