Handcrafted Maple/Walnut Jewelry/Lingerie Cabinet by Wasikwoodworks in Calgary. This four foot tall client-designed showpiece features seven full extension drawers with handcrafted Walnut pulls. Two large side doors open to reveal handcrafted Maple/Walnut hook bars to hang necklaces, ties and scarves. Lid has etched mirror framed with egg&dart moulding and soft down stay mechanism. Trays are custom divided to owner's collection of jewelry, make-up, etc. Also contains hidden compartment for special items.

candle arches are an old tradition in the erzgebirge /germany. miners used to build bigger versions of candle arches surrounding the gallery entrance of their mines.
especially in dark winter and christmas time they started their work before sunrise and finished their work after sunset, so the light of a candle arch was their substitute for the sun. within the years it became a tradition and very popular to put smaller versions inside the windows at winter and christmas time. the candle arch seen above is an upper lusatian adaption made by my father. it shows a family heading home to their typical upper lustitian house, the man standing next to the trees is robber karaseck our upper lusitian version of robin hood ,,,

This is the focal of a very hard-to-photograph necklace featuring copper, turquoise, Czech glass and onyx. The "Love" charm is hand-made of copper, and hangs nicely with the faceted black Czech glass and turquoise. The bead caps were all etched and made by me. Unseen here, there is a cool link higher up on the chain of this - it's a copper bar link, antiqued and similar to this, but it says "LIVE".
